Kolagroup was formed in the mists of time somewhere in the mid-90’s of the last century. The original members of this tribe have come a long way since then. Time has sometimes taken its toll with some members drifting apart. But time also more than made it up by bringing new members within the tribe. A major gender imbalance that was (un)felt at the beginning of the inception of the group was … over the years slowly (and sometimes quickly) corrected.

Karma, the perennial women’s heartthrob , gifted with a silken melodious voice that can (and have) make women swoon. He has a habit in taking to the mountains with his lota(in other words, he keeps dropping off the edge of the world).
Karma, according to the last reports received, is working for TCS and is stationed in Mumbai. Update: He has resurfaced in our mailing list recently

Kiran or bhabhee 
is the better half of Vijay. Kiran and Vijay got married on April 2nd 2001. She is working at DSF too! We got quite a team there. Kiran lives with Vijay at their Kalu Sarai house. Her parents and brothers live nearby at JNU campus, Delhi.

Biography
Kahan se shuru karoon. My father who tries his hand at palm reading predicted that I will not be studying beyond 10th std. So took that up as a let me prove him wrong..atleast in palmistry.So somehow managed till 12th dragging my soul along.Then after 12 the big question of what next to do came..So again dad’s advice of be atleast a graduate , led me into doing atleast some subject which sounds different from the routine..botany, zoology, So while i was forgetting the forms of Delhi University , decided to apply for Biochemistry, as it had both the terms biology and chemistry , looked interesting to me.
Infact after each degree it has been a question of what next, so I latch on to the next one in pipeline. A grave consequence of this has resulted in me ending up doing PhD.but that’s the last milestone at least. enough is enough,.. atleast i proved my dad does not know palmistry well!!!!!!
Coming into kola group was a major historical event in life,.. Will never forget the first day when sandy came to interview me. Actually even to find out wether, a someone whom he had heard about by the name of piyali, is a male or female, or nonexistant species.Must have given a good interview to get a membership within one month of the interview.
And a poster in my room actually sums me up it says…I havea very responsible position ( in life) wherever whatever goes wrong, if I have been around I am the one responsible
Interests
Adventure sports, u can ask me to do any thing, bungee jumping, rafting ( though I don’t know swimming), kuch bhi bol do.apart from this what do i like, well, i like hindi music the soulful old ones particularly.I like painting if there is a lot of time in hand and SLEEPING IS BEST TIME PASS.
Vijay
Vijay alias “badman” (nickname withheld on request) is also known as the permanent-entertainment-factory by people who have known and suffered the most.
Vinay
Vinay or “sharmaji” is one of the prime recluse of the group. Famous for his one-liners, he is notorious for his boyish charm and good-looks, and equally notorious for not taking advantage of it.
Vinay is presently working at Mindframe Software in NOIDA. He stays at Mayur Vihar with his parents.
Update: Vinay married in May 2006. He promises to update his info and his wife’s.
