		<description>National Archives?
i also know that the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) have their own precious library of photos and images.
You know, has it occurred to anyone that legally, even photographs authored and copyrighted by leading newspaper houses in india automatically fall into the public domain according to the indian copyright act? thus, all newspaper houses should multi-distribute their photos. not just flickr. heck! i shudder to think what would happen if microsoft buys yahoo that owns flickr. yeah yeah i know the &#039;public domain&#039; bit, but still. therefore multi-distribute, flickr, picasa, ibiblio, wikicommons, and so on.
what do you think?
regards
