I have been trying to get the Gutsy Beta OR the openSUSE 10.3 release to give me bcm43xx access without troubles....to no avail! The 'new' drivers are apparently NOT ready for prime time, no matter which release we have. The disappointing thing to me is that Sabayon works out-of-the-box......how is that, given all the $$$$ and people that Canonical (Gutsy) and Novell have working these issues? Is it all because of the non-open drivers? Or am I going crazy over this month's releases for no reason at all? Paul The problem may be deeper than that!
